Frequently asked questions
- How does my site keep the credit?
- scatterpost publishes to your own website first and reads back the URL it publishes at. Every cross-post to Dev.to, Hashnode and the rest points back to that URL, so search engines can tell which copy is the original.
- What counts as a scheduled post?
- A scheduled post is one publication queued for a future time through the schedule tool or the calendar. Publishing immediately with publish now does not count against the scheduled-post limit on any tier.
- Can I cancel at any time?
- Yes. Cancel from the billing settings in your workspace or through the Stripe customer portal. Your subscription runs until the end of the current billing period and does not renew after that.
- Where is my data stored?
- Workspace data is stored in a Supabase project hosted in London. Platform tokens are encrypted at rest before they are written to the database.
- Are you GDPR compliant?
- scatterpost is built for UK GDPR: see the privacy policy for the lawful bases we rely on, what we store, how long we keep it and how to exercise your subject rights, including a complaint route to the ICO.
